Brooke Dubil is an Administrative intern here at Four Pillars Executives learning the ropes of how Human Resources and Recruiting function in a business setting. A current senior at Ohio University, she is in the works of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Business. Her dream job is to become an HR director/manager in a major company where she can showcase her skills and abilities to others to better further the goals of the company’s employees.
A former gymnast for 15 years at Gym X-treme in Columbus, Ohio Brooke competed at a competitive level and then moved on to Ohio University where she continued to grow as a gymnast. While she was a gymnast, she was able to travel all over the country for competitions which was one of her favorite parts about competing. Brooke also obtained a 6th place award in the Regional competition where she then moved on to placing in the top ten places in the Nationals competition which was held in Florida. Being a gymnast for so many years taught her many leadership and communication roles that helped her as both a gymnast and also with her career as well.
Being an intern here has taught Brooke not only how HR and recruiting work, but it has also taught her how to set and obtain goals in the work field and outside the work field as well. By the end of July, which is also the end of her internship here at Four Pillars Executives, her goal is to master recruiting and she would also like to be able to lead orientation sessions. Within the next five to ten years, Brooke’s long term goal is to be happily married while she becomes the director of the HR department where she can make six figures. By the end of this internship, Brooke will have the knowledge to be able to obtain her long-term goal, something she is ecstatic about!
